Federico Montaresi, aka Trasparente (Italy, 1994), is an Art worker and researcher working across video, installation, instant photography, and new media.

Following a near-death experience in 2016, his practice began exploring reality in its most direct form, focusing on the energy within gestures, professions, natural phenomena, and the fluid perception of time.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Painting and a Master’s Degree in Cinema and Video from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, as well as Certificate in Digital Art from 中国美术学院 (China Academy of Art) in Hangzhou. Its work has been exhibited in Italy and internationally, in cluding at GNAMC in Rome and the Civic Museum of Livorno, as well as in Spain, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, Japan, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, the United States, Taiwan, and Switzerland. 

In 2025, it was awarded third place at the Talent Prize. Its works are held in several public and private collections, including the Permanent Collection of the Carnico Museum, the Permanent Collection of CAMeC – Centre of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Senate of the Italian Republic, and the MOCA Museum in Taipei. He currently lives and works between Italy and China, where it also teaches Digital Video and New Media in Mandarin Chinese within cultural exchange programmes.
